The MCS Survival Foundation was created by people living with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity for the people fighting it every day—from those newly developing sensitivities to those living with the most severe, life-altering stages of MCS.
Too many people in our community have lost their homes, careers, relationships, medical care, independence, and access to safe air. Some are trapped in unsafe housing. Some are forced into isolation. Some are sleeping in cars, tents, sheds, or outdoors because ordinary buildings, fragrances, smoke, cleaners, pesticides, and everyday chemicals have made the modern world physically dangerous.
For far too long, people with MCS have been dismissed, doubted, abandoned, and told to survive an impossible illness alone. We have learned a painful truth: the cavalry is not coming. We must become the cavalry for one another.
Our mission is to unite the MCS community and turn compassion into practical action. We aim to provide emergency assistance, safer-living support, essential supplies, education, advocacy, community outreach, and hope to people whose lives have been devastated by chemical exposure.
This foundation is not about one person, one stage, or one story. It is for everyone living with MCS—whether you are at Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, or Stage 4. The illness may affect us differently, but nobody should have to fight it alone.
We believe small acts can create enormous change. One person may not be able to rescue an entire community, but thousands of people contributing one dollar, one hour, one skill, or one voice can build something powerful.
We are not waiting to be saved. We are organizing to help save one another.
